Senior individual contributor leading Node.js technical direction, architecture decisions, and code quality while designing and developing frontend, mobile, and backend platform features.
Develops and maintains ServiceNow applications and configurations for the Department of the Air Force enterprise IT infrastructure.
Senior Software Engineer designs and builds production backend systems, full-stack features, and AI agent-powered workflows for a fintech credit risk platform.
Gynger is the agentic credit risk function for tech CFOs - unlocking embedded financing at the speed and scale of tech.
We’re a cash flow management platform with embedded financing that gives B2B technology vendors the power to offer flexible payment terms to customers while securing upfront payment. Finance leaders use Gynger to combine actionable insights with capital, optimizing day to day cash flow, accelerating deal cycles, mitigating risk, and executing on long term strategy.
We’re building the rails that financed tech B2B deals will run on. Our AI agents sit inside the credit and risk function, embedded directly in the sale, giving buyers buy-now-pay-later flexibility on their technology purchases while vendors get paid upfront.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in NYC, Gynger has raised $20M in Series A funding with investment from Gradient Ventures, Velvet Sea, BAG Ventures, MXV Capital and others.
For the third year running, Gynger has been recognized as one of Built In’s Best Places to Work 2026.
We’re building the AI-native infrastructure for tech financing, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who builds with AI, not just around it.
You’ll help architect and develop the agentic systems that run our credit risk function — underwriting, risk monitoring, collections, and payments — as complete processes an agent can carry from start to finish, rather than a single feature layered on top of a workflow. You’ll work across the stack, with particular depth on the backend: scalable APIs, thoughtful data architecture, and services built to support real financial workflows. You’ll also help shape how we build, bringing modern AI-assisted development practices into our everyday work and helping our engineering standards evolve alongside the tools themselves.
This is a role for someone who wants a hand in shaping the product, the architecture, and the way the team works, not just executing what’s already been decided.
Design and build production systems from the ground up, including scalable backend services, internal and external APIs, and data models that support complex financial workflows.
Take full-stack features from concept through architecture, front-end implementation, backend logic, and deployment.
Build and extend AI agent-powered workflows that carry out our credit risk operations, from underwriting and risk monitoring to collections and payments.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot) as a natural part of how you build.
Contribute to evolving our engineering practices and standards, including code review norms, architecture patterns, and how we integrate AI tooling into our workflow.
Participate in code reviews and offer thoughtful, constructive feedback.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, and product managers to solve complex problems and build products people genuinely enjoy using.
Bring a spirit of experimentation to your work, while caring about the quality of what reaches production.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional experience working with TypeScript (React on the front-end, Node.js on the back-end).
Preferred - experience as a tech lead or team lead, particularly if you grew into that role as a founding or early engineer who helped build something from the ground up.
Demonstrated strength on the backend, including designing scalable APIs, databases, and system architecture.
A track record of building full applications from scratch — modular, full-stack systems, not just features within an existing framework.
Experience releasing and operating applications in a cloud environment like GCP or AWS.
Hands-on, everyday fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
A history of helping teams improve their practices and standards, beyond simply completing assigned work.
Strong ownership mentality and comfort working in a fast-moving, category-creating startup environment.
Ideal but not required:
Experience in FinTech, SaaS B2B, or agentic software for B2B, especially with credit, risk, or payments systems.
Experience building AI agent-based systems that take autonomous action, rather than generating content or summaries.
Experience working with backend policies, data flows, and complex business logic.
$175,000 - $215,000 a year
The base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $215,000 - depending on experience and background, plus equity and benefits. We believe in paying people fairly and will be transparent throughout the process.
We Offer…
• The opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Fintech Series A companies in NYC.
• The ability to revolutionize the B2B SaaS market.
• A tight-knit, collaborative team who are passionate about building startups.
• Competitive salary, equity, flexible PTO, and robust benefits (medical, dental, vision etc.).
• Built-In 2024, 2025, and 2026 Best Places to Work - three years in a row!
Our Values:
Win Together - Move, grow, and win as a team.
Be Accountable - Be true to yourself, to your team and to your customers.
Stay Curious - Dig deep and always thirst for knowledge.
Listen to Understand - Uncover what is really being communicated.
Go Above & Beyond- Go the extra mile and unlock the thrill of being a pioneer.
We’re focused on building and fostering a diverse, flexible, and inclusive space that allows our team members to thrive. We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider applicants without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, genetics, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local law.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Durham, NC, the company gives mid-market and enterprise businesses the infrastructure to connect to any payment gateway, processor, or fraud tool through a single API. The platform is vendor-agnostic by design, meaning customers are never locked into a single provider and never need to rebuild their payments stack to access new capabilities.
The core business problem Spreedly solves is real and costly: global merchants face a fragmented payments ecosystem, where every new market, payment method, or fraud tool typically requires a separate, time-consuming integration. Spreedly eliminates that complexity, enabling companies to route transactions intelligently, secure cardholder data, prevent fraud, and expand into new markets without heavy engineering overhead.
Spreedly is looking for a Controller to lead our accounting function and help build a more automated, scalable operating environment. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll own accounting across the business while partnering closely with FP&A and cross-functional leaders.
This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who wants meaningful autonomy, enjoys solving complex problems, and knows what great systems and processes look like. Our usage-based model — including contracts with commitments, overages, and usage billed in arrears — creates accounting challenges beyond those found in a typical SaaS environment. You’ll be the steward of our finance systems, including NetSuite, Orb, and Ramp, and a driving force behind modernizing how the accounting function runs, including where automation and AI tools can remove manual work.
Spreedly Product Offering:
Spreedly provides an open payments platform. The platform’s connectivity provides payments performance. Key products and services include:
Connect— A unified API that integrates with hundreds of payment gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods worldwide, including digital wallets. Merchants access the global payments ecosystem through one connection.
Vault — A PCI-compliant secure repository for payment methods. Merchants store card data once and reuse it across any payment service, reducing PCI scope and protecting cardholder data at scale.
Optimize— Workflow-driven routing and retry logic that directs each transaction to the best-performing gateway in real time. On average, 7.9% of failed transactions succeed immediately when retried on a secondary gateway. This is where merchants recover lost revenue and increase authorization success rates.
Protect— A flexible fraud and authentication layer, incorporating advanced fraud tools and 3DS. Following Spreedly’s acquisition of Dodgeball in September 2025, fraud orchestration and payment optimization now operate within the same platform.
Resolve— Centralized management and reporting that reduces operational silos, strengthens security, and improves billing control across a merchant’s entire payment operation.

At this time Spreedly is unable to provide sponsorship for employment, and we are not set up to support remote employees who reside in New York. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the job location country and not require future sponsorship in order to continue working in that country.

Senior Manager bridges Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market by building operating systems for decision-making, measuring product success, and analyzing major product strategy bets.
About Us
Fieldguide is the agentic AI-native platform for audit and advisory. We’re establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets by putting AI agents to work alongside the practitioners who verify how the economy actually operates.
The profession is facing a structural capacity problem. CPA exam candidates are at a 17-year low, and as many as 75% of today’s CPAs are expected to retire over the next decade, while regulatory complexity and client expectations keep rising. We’re building the system that closes that gap.
We’ve raised over $125M from Growth Equity by Goldman Sachs, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Thomson Reuters, Floodgate, and Y Combinator. More than half of the top-100 U.S. CPA firms are customers, including several Big 4 firms, and we have the NPS to match. Our agents help practitioners save up to 75% of time on manual tasks and unlock over 4x capacity.
We’re deliberate about how we operate. Our FFLOWI values (Fearless, Fast, Lovable, Owners, Win-Win, Inclusive) mean we launch fast and iterate to perfection, we solve problems without red tape, and we hold ourselves to 11-star experiences for customers who cannot afford to be let down.
About the Role
As Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Operations, you’ll be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market, turning strategy into execution across the product lifecycle. You’ll build the operating systems that help our product teams make better decisions, ship with confidence, and prove measurable impact for the firms betting their delivery model on us.
This is the first dedicated hire in this function. You’ll work as an extension of product leadership, balancing hands-on execution with strategic initiatives, and you’ll build from zero rather than inherit. If ambiguity slows you down, this isn’t the role.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain Voice of Customer systems that synthesize signal from engagement partners, managers, and staff auditors, along with Solutions, Implementation, and Sales, into product signals teams can act on
Establish rigorous mechanisms for measuring product success and user impact i.e. dashboards, KPIs
Own the analysis behind major product bets: competitive positioning, where agent capabilities should expand next, and the unit economics of running agents at scale i.e. inference cost per engagement, cost-to-serve by segment, and what those trends imply for roadmap sequencing
Own and improve core product development processes, tooling, and team rituals: planning cycles, roadmap reviews, monthly business reviews
Build run-of-business systems that scale as we grow i.e. launch calendars, intake frameworks, RACI structures
Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
Who You Are
6-8+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, product or corporate strategy, consulting, or a closely related operational role at a high-growth tech or SaaS company
You’ve built processes and programs from scratch and scaled them thoughtfully, not just inherited and maintained them
Strong ability to translate complex qualitative and quantitative data — usage metrics, feedback themes, retention signals — into clear recommendations and roadmap inputs. You can pull the data yourself rather than waiting on a queue
Proven ability to drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Engineering without direct authority
More about Fieldguide

Fearless - Inspire & break down seemingly impossible walls.
Fast - Launch fast with excellence, iterate to perfection.
Lovable - Deliver happiness & 11 star experiences.
Owners - Execute & run the business with ownership.
Win-win - Create mutual value & earn trust for life.
Inclusive - Scale the best ideas with inclusive teams.
Some of our benefits include
Competitive compensation packages with meaningful ownership
Flexible PTO
401k
Wellness benefits, including a bundle of free therapy sessions
Technology & Work from Home reimbursement
Flexible work schedules
Owns QA strategy, release processes, and testing infrastructure for a mobile app, managing quality gates and leading release decisions end-to-end.
We prioritize learning and teamwork and love giving people the opportunity to champion solutions to big challenges and grow into better versions of themselves. A great candidate believes in Raya’s vision, which is to enrich lives by fostering relationships through quality, in person interactions. You thrive at the intersection of quality and shipping, and you’re excited to build the release systems, quality gates, and testing strategy that let Raya ship a consumer app our members trust every time.
Quality Strategy: Own the QA strategy across automated and manual testing, deciding what we automate, what we test by hand, and what we accept as risk, with regression coverage on critical paths like onboarding, payments, subscriptions, messaging, and login, including where third-party testing services and AI-assisted QA tooling fit in.
Visibility and Communication: Maintain the release calendar and Quality scorecards including report crash rates, defect escape rates, and release health to leadership
Continuous Improvement: Run release retros, turn incidents and escaped defects into durable process fixes, and connect release decisions to the incident response process
Release Ownership: Run the release process end-to-end for the Raya iOS app from predictable release trains with clear cut, freeze, and submission dates through App Store submission, phased rollout, and rollback/fix forward
Go/No-Go Process: Define release readiness criteria, lead go/no-go decision making
6+ years in software quality, release management, or engineering, with 3+ years managing people
Deep knowledge of the App Store release lifecycle: TestFlight, phased release, expedited review, and rejection handling
Experience with subscription and payment flows on iOS
Experience building test automation strategy for mobile, including real-device testing, feature flags, and progressive rollouts
Experience deciding the split between automated and manual testing, and managing third-party QA or crowdtesting vendors
Fluency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, and strong knowledge of Git branching strategies for mobile release workflows
Clear, direct written communication
Systems Builder: You build process and automation, so release quality depends on systems rather than memory
Impact-driven: You focus regression and automation coverage on the paths that matter most to members, rather than chasing full coverage everywhere
Ownership mentality: You take escaped defects from discovery to root cause to prevention
Bridge Builder: You partner with engineering managers, product, and leadership, embedding quality into everyday workflows while balancing team velocity
Bias toward shipping and iteration: You improve the release process incrementally in short cycles rather than waiting for a perfect system
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. Senior Software Engineer designs and builds scalable backend systems, APIs, and AI agent workflows for a fintech credit risk platform.
Athenian Project: In 2017, we created the Athenian Project to ensure that state and local governments have the highest level of protection and reliability for free, so that their constituents have access to election information and voter registration. Since the project, we’ve provided services to more than 425 local government election websites in 33 states.
1.1.1.1: We released1.1.1.1 to help fix the foundation of the Internet by building a faster, more secure and privacy-centric public DNS resolver. This is available publicly for everyone to use - it is the first consumer-focused service Cloudflare has ever released. Here’s the deal - we don’t store client IP addresses never, ever. We will continue to abide by our privacy commitment and ensure that no user data is sold to advertisers or used to target consumers.
Sound like something you’d like to be a part of? We’d love to hear from you!
